Socks for the Homeless

We’re knitting socks to help the homeless in Sudbury, ON

About our project

We are a group of teachers in the Sudbury, ON region who are working together to knit 30 socks for the homeless population in Sudbury. Why socks? Socks are usually the last donation people think to give and organizations run out frequently. There is a constant need for clean, dry socks by the homeless community. We are working directly with Cedar Place, an emergency shelter for women ages 18+ and families with children to distribute all the socks we make during this fundraiser.
